Delphinium ‘Sweethearts’
A beautiful mid-to-soft-pink delphinium distinguished by its delicate white bees, which lend the flowers a gentler, more refined appearance than the deeper-toned ‘Dusky Maidens’. Medium to tall in habit, it reaches approximately 1.2–1.5 metres, producing elegant flower spires that make a striking feature in the early summer border and are equally prized as cut flowers.
Flowering from November through to late April, this outstanding variety offers an exceptionally long season of colour. By cutting the first flush of flower stems back to the ground after flowering in early January and feeding the plants well, a second display of magnificent blooms will soon follow, extending the display well into autumn.
