‘Blue Guardian’ is a new variety of Delphinium elatum with very strong stems making it suitable for picking, for which it was bred, as well as making an outstanding border plant giving strong vertical structure to the garden. The double blue-purple flowers are closely arranged on the stem Flowering from early to mid-summer it will rebloom if spent stems are removed. Best grown in full sun and well worked soil. It will need some extra irrigation during dry periods. Height 120cm width 60-80cm.
