‘Saisetsu’ is another Japanese selection with pure white, formal decorative, medium to large flowers with tight centres. ‘Saisetsu’is less likely to suffer from petal damage than other whites. Height 140-160cm width 90-100cm.
Selected for commercial cut flower production, these dahlias bloom on very long and very strong stems. They also last in the vase longer than most other varieties. Other than that, these highly productive varieties just as easily grown as any other Dahlias. They will flower from late summer onwards if planted in the garden in the next few weeks. All are best grown in full sun in well prepared soil.
