Cupressus sempervirens ‘Glauca’
This is one of the best forms of Italian Pencil Pine. It is narrow in growth, very fast growing and as it produces very few ‘nuts’, keeps it shape well. Plants in our Mediterranean garden have grown 10 metres tall in a dozen years. It will eventually grow 20 metres tall but as the growth is so narrow it takes very little horizontal space. Happy in any sunny spot and very drought tolerant when once established.
