Crowea ‘Poorinda Ecstasy’
This superb hybrid has stood the test of time being a cross made by Leo Hodge before 1969. A cross between the NSW endemic C. exalata and a form of C. saligna from northern Victoria this evergreen shrub will grow a metre tall by as much across. Its large pink waxflowers are produced over a long period from spring into summer. Happy in any sunny, well drained spot ‘Poorinda Ecstasy’ is quite tolerant of dryness when once established.
