Alluring soft mauve-pink flowers are produced on last season’s wood during late spring and early summer. A light prune will give single flowers of the same colour during late summer and early autumn. Thought to be a cross of ‘Vyvyan Pennell’ and ‘Mrs Spencer Castle’ and bred in the UK by Walter Pennell mid last century. Suited to both small and large gardens and is compact enough to grow in containers. Height 2 metres or less.
