“The handsomest of all the Himalayan shrubs” Sir Joseph Hooker. I’ve grown this, the largest flowered of all the Buddlejas for 20 or 30 years. It flowers quite ‘readily on wood from the previous seasons growth. Besides dead heading it needs no attention and doesn’t need hard pruning as do other Buddlejas. It needs some summer water and good soil to flourish but is worth any effort. 200cm x 150cm. Sun or light shade.
