Bergenia cordifolia ‘Shoeshine Rose’
‘Shoeshine Rose’ is a distinctive new release which makes mounds of mid-green leathery leaves which turn a rich rose colour during winter. Early spring brings clusters of pink bells carried on strong 35cm tall flower stems. Needing very little irrigation when once established, they are great for shady parts of the garden but are happy enough in full sun if watered occasionally during dry periods. Height 35cm. Spread 50cm. Bergenias grow beautifully in large pots at Lambley.
