Bergenia ‘Ballawley’
This rare and rarely offered Bergenia has the largest leaves of the genus. Plants growing in a shaded spot in the Lambley garden produce fresh green leaves some 40cm long by 30cm wide. Large rich rose coloured flowers are carried on tall red stems during spring. ‘Ballawley’ has made a dramatic pot plant in complete shade at our front door. Best grown in shade where it will eventually grow a metre wide.
