Aster lateriflorus ‘Lady in Black’
Aster ‘Lady in Black’ was raised by Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf. It is a dramatic plant with black leaves clothing upright 80cm tall, stiff stems. During late summer and autumn small wiry horizontal branches are produced from the upper leaf axels to display thousands of small white daisies with crimson centres. It’s a very tough sun-loving plant which stands some neglect from the hose. 80cm x 50cm.
