Aruncus aethusifolius
Like so many good garden plants the dwarf goat’s beard is a native of Korea. From a 10-15cm tall plinth of much dissected fern like foliage 30cm tall stems carry plumes of small white flowers during mid to late spring. Must be grown in consistently moist fertile soil as the foliage soon deteriorates if the soil dries out. Aruncus aethusifolius is a recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit. This award is only given to plants of exceptional garden value.
