Allium carinatum ssp. pulchellum f. album
The rare and exquisite but easily grown pure white form of this summer/autumn flowering allium. 30cm tall flower stems carry graceful loose heads of icy white flowers for two months or more. We grow it through low growing perennials in a sunny spot. It will gently self-sow and form handsome drifts. Pot grown. Allium carinatum grows wild in southern and central Europe into and on the eastern side of the Bosphorus in Turkey.
