The 40cm long by 5 cm wide ferociously prickly leaves make a handsome low growing mound. During late spring and early summer50 cm tall stems carry white flowers enclosed in purple bracts. This striking drought tolerant, winter dormant plant is happy in any sunny well drained spot. 50cm by 60cm.
