Stokesia laevis ‘Mega Mels’

This superb form of Stoke’s Aster was selected in the Netherlands in 2015. It is more vigorous, and is more floriferous than older seed raised types. An evergreen perennial with shiny dark green basal leaves carries 40cm tall stems of large (up to 10cm across) soft purple, cornflower-like flowers during late spring, summer and autumn. Height 40cm width 40cm.
