Peony Poppy ‘Double Coral’ (Papaver paeoniflorum)
The seed of this deep coral, fully double variety came originally from an old Ballarat garden. A bed of it in the vegetable garden this year occasioned much favourable comment. If planted in good soil during autumn it will grow to a metre or more tall and produce a half a dozen or so flowers per plant. In very poor soil it may have single flowers.
