Poppies are generally best sown direct but we find that starting Iceland Poppies in autumn in trays is the best way.
When to sow: autumn, winter and early spring
Where to sow: Scatter seeds onto garden bed or into trays
Depth to sow: Surface sow
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil.
Spacing: Between plants: 10-40cm.
Directions: Easily grown in trays or pots in Autumn.
