Leonotis leonorus ‘Harrissmith White’
White Lion's Ear
Whilst not fully frost hardy this plant has endured and grown in our frosty climate in a protected spot in our garden for twenty years. During summer and autumn whorls of long, tubular white flowers are produced on new season’s growth. It is drought tolerant when established and can be protected from frost by a thick layer of straw placed over the roots during winter. 120cm tall by 100 cm wide here at Lambley but it will grow bigger in milder gardens.
