Kniphofia ‘Limelight’

K. 'Limelight' has distinctive low and curling foliage from which most impressive lemon-lime pokers appear from late-spring into summer. Kniphofia don’t enjoy being hemmed in by other plants and as the foliage is quite low and the flower stems narrow they don’t hide plants growing behind. In flower from midsummer until autumn with telling lime green flower heads on dark stems this is to my mind the most useful of all the pokers, 80cm x 40cm.
