Jasminum multipartitum
Starry Jasmine
Starry Jasmine is a native of South Africa where it is widely grown in gardens. Mostly evergreen, it tolerates some frost but should be planted in late spring in very cold districts. It has coped with frost here in a sheltered position. From reddish buds large, intensely fragrant white, waxy flowers are produced for many months from early spring until summer. Whilst it is a climbing plant it can, with a little trimming, be grown as a shrub . 200cm by 150cm.
