Imperata cylindrica PBR ‘Yalba’

This native grass selection is a rampant, weed suppressor for soil erosion work, roadside plantings, slopes and median strips. It is far too vigorous for ordinary garden use as it will overwhelm any other plant. It carries its fluffy white flower plumes for 3-4 months during winter and spring. Best cut to the ground in late February or early March.
