Hydrangea serrata ‘Fuji Waterfall’

Native to the mountains of Korea and Japan, Hydrangea serrata grows into a compact shrub a metre, or a little more, tall by as much wide. Its glossy green leaves make a perfect foil for the white lacecap flowers. In the case of ‘Fuji Waterfall’ both the fertile flowers and the infertile ones are double. The outer infertile flowers are held on very long pedicels. Best grown in light to medium shade and kept well-watered during summer.
