Hydrangea quercifolia

The oakleaf Hydrangea is one of the most beautiful of all small summer flowering shrubs. The oak shaped green leaves, large and handsome, give lovely autumn tones as they change to bronze, red and burgundy. The white conical flower heads are very beautiful and last in good shape from summer until winter. Best grown in a shady spot although it is happy enough in full sun as long as it gets extra summer waterings during dry periods. 1m tall x 1m wide.
