Hibiscus syriacus
White Form
An exquisitely beautiful frost hardy Hibiscus which we have growing next to the path to the house from the nursery. It has a delicacy to the flower which belies the toughness of the plant. Happy in any sunny spot in the garden. A good cutting back by about a third will keep it healthy and floriferous. I grow it as a small standard. Hibiscus syriacus is native to China but was brought to western Asia via the Silk Road. 200cm by 150cm.
