Helichrysum italicum ssp. microphyllum
Dwarf Silver Curry Bush
As silver as the Australian Silver Cushion Bush, Leucophyta brownii, but much more frost hardy. A delicious smell of curry is given off by the leaves if you brush past them. Tiny intensely silver leaves are clasped tightly against silver stems on a neat plant which grows about 30cm tall by as much across. It is drought tolerant and sun loving. We grow it in our new Mediterranean garden.
