Geranium x magnificum

One of the easiest of the northern hemisphere geraniums to grow with excellent vigour and disease resistance. When in full glory, during spring and early summer, this is one of the most telling of all the cranesbills. Dark violet blue flowers some 5cm across completely cover the plant. G. magnificum is vigorous and will soon make good sized clumps. 50cm by 65cm. Sun or light shade. Excellent at the front of old roses as well as the flower border.
