Euphorbiaceae
Euphorbia rigida
Archibalds Myrtle Spurge
This form of Euphorbia rigida starts flowering in the middle of winter with large heads of lime green. The bracts age to crimson during the early spring months. The foliage is handsome the year round with waxy blue leaves spiralling around the upright stem. There isn’t a day in the year when this spurge isn’t a delight. Tough, sun loving and drought tolerant. 45cm x 60cm. One of the best plants for public spaces in low or no irrigation settings, this is widely used by the local government in central Victoria. Our strain is grown from seed collected by Jim and Jenny Archibald from “… north of Sparta” Greece.
We apologise that this plant is currently sold out.
