Spanish Eyes Herons Bill
We grew Erodium glandulosum when we were still in the Dandenongs but our form wasn’t as vigorous or handsome as this one. Erodium ‘Spanish Eyes’ makes a low tight evergreen mound of much dissected green leaves over which, hovering like butterflies, large lilac pink, carmine veined flowers with prominent carmine stained, grey blotches on the two upper petals. It is in bloom from early spring until winter. Sun loving and drought tolerant. 20cm x 30cm.
