Centaurea gymnocarpa ‘Colchester White’

One of the most beautiful of all the silvers, ‘Colchester White’ quickly makes an evergreen shrubby plant dressed in large, deeply cut silver leaves. Attractive amethyst-purple cornflowers are produced during late spring and early summer. Best grown in full sun where it will grow 60-80cm tall by 120cm across.
