Caryopteris x clandonensis ‘White Surprise’

‘White Surprise’ is a new variety of Caryopteris with attractive white variegated leaves. The foliage is sun hardy and doesn’t scorch even during the hottest summers. Making a deciduous shrub 80cm tall by as much across it carries its mauve blue flowers in the leaf axils of current season’s growth. The longer the growth the more flowers so it is best to cut the plant back half way during winter. A sun loving drought tolerant shrub.
