Compact deciduous shrub which is grown for its clusters of winter berries which are like deep violet-purple pearls. A very showy plant for winter decoration both in the house and in the garden. Happy in any sunny or lightly shaded spot which can be given a little extra water during dry periods. Will grow 200cm tall by as much wide.
