Baby Leaf Mustard Greens

Finely cut, dark red attractive, serrated leaves. Sow from August until April, year round in mild areas. Just the right amount of spice.

 

When to sow: August until early May
Where to sow: In prepared garden bed
Depth to sow: 5mm-10mm
Aspect:  Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil:  Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: For baby leaf in a 5cm wide band 60 seeds per 30cm and 30cm between rows
For full size 15 seeds per 30cm and rows 40cm apart
           

Directions:  Harvest when baby leaves are from 10cm tall and for full size when plants are 25cm tall.
