Ordering
Staff at Lambley Nursery take great care in growing, selecting, packing and dispatching our plants. All orders are dispatched using Australia Post’s fully tracked e-parcel service.
All orders are, at all times, guaranteed safe delivery or free replacement.
In the event that we cannot fill an order a refund will be issued for orders. Alternatively, please indicate a preference for substitute choices.
Shipping Costs
Orders containing plants or bulbs are $15.00 flat rate regardless of quantity anywhere in Australia (except WA and NT). Any combination of other items with plants and bulbs are included.
Seed and card only orders under $35.00 are $5.50 flat rate. Seed and card only orders over $35.00 qualify for free shipping.
We now also offer a Nursery Pickup service, where an online order can be paid for through our site, and it will ready to be collected at the Nursery.
How long will I wait?
At most times orders are received within a week and a half but please allow up to 10 business days before making enquiries about progress of your plant order. We will usually get them to you in less time than that. Due to quarantine requirements allow up to 21 days for orders to Tasmania. Seed only orders are cleared within a few business days.
How to Order
Secure on-line payment can be made through our shopping cart with a credit card, or using PayPal.
Phone orders are welcome from 9 to 5 weekdays. Orders may also be placed via email or via the post with a cheque or money order.
Winter Orders
We send plants in every season of the year. In winter deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state without leaves and/or cut back to pot level. They should be planted out and will reshoot in the spring.
Possible Summer Heat Delays
Occasionally orders may be delayed for a few days prior to shipping due to predicted heat above 35C.
Pot Size
All of our plants are offered in a 10cm diameter pot unless otherwise indicated. Plants grown here are frost hardy unless stated otherwise.
Sustainability
Our pots are made from recycled materials and can themselves be recycled.
For over 35 years, most of Garden City Plastics black plastic containers have been made from recycled plastic which was given a boost by the new and recently introduced recycling program. Pots no longer need to go into land fill, they are 100% recyclable if returned to the manufacturers.
