Clematis x jackmanii ‘Dorothy Tolver’
The matchless, vibrant deep mauve pink flowers some 12-15cm across ‘have a satin sheen. The creamy lemon anthers make a nice contrast. Flowers are produced in late spring and early summer and again in autumn. A vigorous vine it will grow up to 4 metres into a tree but generally makes 2.5-3 metres. This clematis prefers to be given a light trim during winter and not cut down too hard. ‘Dorothy Tolver’ makes a great plant to cover a fence, an arbour or trellis or clamber through trees and climbing roses.
