Poa labillardieri ‘Suggan Buggan ’
A fabulous blue-leaf form of this native grass with arching mounds of evergreen foliage, blue and graceful. It was found in the vicinity of the township of Suggan Buggan in Gippsland. Typical upright stems of flowers bluish in bud ageing to straw. Cut back to no further down than about 15cm immediately after flowering in mid to late summer for a beautiful fountain-like display of new leaves. 100cm tall by 90cm wide. Sun or at most very light shade. The best blue-leaved grass that we grow.
