There can’t be a finer berried shrub than this when in its full autumn glory. Nor can there be many shrubs which can better its brilliant autumn foliage. Masses of deep pink, almost red berries holding showy orange seeds combined with brilliant red leaves, make a spectacular autumn display. It has flourished in our dry garden for many years, getting by with very little supplementary watering. Happy in sun or light shade it will grow 3 metres tall by 2 metres across.
