Epimedium x youngianum ‘Mardi Gras’
This charming evergreen ground cover was raised by David Kennedy at his Clover Hill Rare Plants Nursery. It will produce its deep pink and lemon flowers during late winter and spring. ‘Mardi Gras’ will grow 30cm tall by 50cm across. The divided evergreen foliage is handsome for most of the year but is best cut to the ground during mid-winter as the flowers and new foliage make a particularly lovely combination. Epimediums are woodland plants and most need a moisture retentive soil in a light to medium shaded spot. 75mm pot.
