Superior breeding work has created the Zesty series which has quickly become a market leader. The effect is impressive especially when grown in a massed border. Zesty Scarlet ™ features fully double flowers with excellent garden vigour. Summer and autumn flowering with good height to 45 – 60cm in full sun. Displays are huge and vibrant all season long once flowering commences. Impressive in containers, mixed combinations and borders. Zesty scarlet is a vivid red with darker undertones.
 
 
When to sow: November-DecemberWhere to sow: Direct in a  prepared garden bed when the   weather warms up.Depth to sow: 1/2cmAspect:  Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.Soil:  Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add   lime if soil is too acid.Spacing:            Between plants: 40-50cm
 
Directions:  Zinnias must be direct seeded into the garden. Plant 3 seeds per station when the weather warms up (mid-November here at Lambley) in well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Thin to the strongest seedling when the first true leaves appear. Zinnias start to flower in January and produce well into April. They are especially good as a cut flower as well as being bright and cheerful garden subjects.
