The Californian breeder of this plant, Terra Nova, describes it thus “Forever Purple is a knockout with ultra-purple glossy leaves with fluted edges ……” Producing 40cm tall wiry stems carrying purple-pink bells during summer “….it is a real show stopper. Destined to be the new standard of purple foliage perennials.” Hyperbole aside this is a really beautiful plant. Best grown in light shade or a sheltered position in full sun it will make a beautiful pot plant as well as a great garden ornamental. Foliage mound 30cm tall by 45cm across.
