A new Gailan with excellent flavour best suited to the cool late autumn, winter and spring seasons. Direct sow seeds 5mm deep 5cm apart thinning to 10cm apart. Harvest before flowers open.
When to sow: Late winter to late autumn
Where to sow: Direct into prepared bed
Depth to sow: 1cm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
Spacing: Between plants 20cm, Between rows 40cm
Directions: Seed is best planted straight into the garden 3 seeds per station, 1cm deep and 20cm apart with 40cm between rows. Thin to one seedling.
