A beautiful frost-hardy Hibiscus which we have growing next to the path to the house from the nursery. It has a delicacy of flower which belies the toughness of the plant. Happy in any sunny spot in the garden as long as it gets a good feed and a good cutting back by about a third during winter to keep it healthy and floriferous. Hibiscus syriacus is native to China but was brought to western Asia via the Silk Road. 200cm by 150cm.
