‘Cassis’ is a superb new variety that produces fully double mauve-purple flowers for an exceptionally long period from late November until April. It is moderately vigorous in growth at 2 to 3 metres tall. As ‘Cassis’ flowers on the current year’s growth cut down to 15-30cm during winter. Besides making a great plant to cover a fence or trellis or clamber through trees and climbing roses ‘Cassis’ will perform well in a large container.
