A particularly lovely single-flowered selection bred for cut-flower production as well as the garden. It forms an upright, clump-forming plant with deep green, finely divided, aromatic foliage and strong stems reaching 60–80 cm.
From summer onwards it produces masses of simple, daisy-like flowers, with pure white petals surrounding neat, golden-yellow centres. The long, strong stems make it an excellent cut flower, with a good vase life, while the flowers are also popular with bees and other pollinating insects.
Easy to grow in full sun and well-drained soil, ‘Campagne’ brings a relaxed, cottage-garden feel to the border and is particularly useful planted among other perennials or grown specifically for cutting.
