Cabbage ‘Swingma’ F1 (Brassica oleracea)

Swingma is a reliable white cabbage with round, dense heads with excellent internal fill. Heads weigh 1.5–3kg and measure approximately 15–20cm across. Maturing in 70–75 days, it offers good field-holding ability. In southern states, it is best suited to late spring through autumn, while warmer regions such as Queensland can produce it year-round

When to sow: Late-winter, spring, summer and early autumn.

Where to sow: Seed tray, pots or in a garden seed bed

Depth to sow: 1/2cm

Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.

Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Add lime if soil is too acid.
