Thousands of small white flowers hover like little white moths on a 150cm tall, multi stemmed plant clothed with maiden-hair fern-like leaves. Very easily grown in any sunny well nurtured spot and given some extra irrigation during dry periods. This elegant meadow rue was introduced into western gardens from China at the end of the 19th century. It enjoys a spot in full sun and needs reasonably fertile soil. It will need to be watered during dry periods.
