This is one of the most striking Asters to grow with its dark stems and leaves which in late summer bear beautiful violet-coloured daisies above the foliage. A very good mainstay plant for larger gardens. Clump-forming and frost hardy. Herbaceous, so we cut it to the ground by the end of May in our climate. 1.5m x 60cm.
