Euonymus europeus ‘Red Cascade’
There can’t be a finer berried shrub than this when it’s in full autumn glory. Masses of deep pink, almost red berries, make such a spectacular display that visitors to the garden invariably rave about it. It has flourished in our dry garden for many years, getting by with very little supplementary watering but has come into its own over the past two wetter seasons so a little extra irrigation may be called for. Happy in sun or light shade it will grow 3 metres tall by 2 metres across.
