Caryopteris x clandonensis ‘Lisaura’

Caryopteris are tough, drought tolerant deciduous shrubs which, happily for us, flower for a long time during late summer and autumn. ‘Lisaura’ is the best of the gold leaf forms. During early spring the new leaves are golden-yellow, but they turn lime-green as the season progresses. The lavender-blue flowers are produced in the leaf axils of the current year’s growth so it’s best cut it back to about 30cm during winter which will promote long new flowering growths. 70cm x 70cm.
