Zinnia ‘Crimson’ (Zinnia elegans)

Zinnia ‘Crimson’ (Zinnia elegans)

The best good rich crimson variety we have been able to source from Europe. Height 70-90cm width 50cm.

Zinnias were grown in every grandmother’s garden but in latter years have all but vanished from the scene. One reason is that if Zinnias are bought as seedlings success is unlikely. Zinnias must be direct seeded into the garden. Zinnias start to flower in January and produce until well into April. They are especially good as a cut flower as well as being bright cheerful garden subjects.
