Tulbaghia violacea ‘Glenside’
Pink Agapanthus, Society Garlic
Whilst not a true Agapanthus, Tulbaghia ‘Glenside’ carries heads of amethyst coloured Agapanthus-like flowers. ‘Glenside’ is a new and much improved selection as it flowers much more freely and for a longer period than others of its kind. The flowers, carried on 50cm tall stems, make a fine show from spring well into autumn. The glossy green, strap like leaves making good evergreen foliage clumps, will eventually grow 60-70cm wide and will produce dozens of flower stems. ‘Glenside’ grows best in a sunny spot and is drought tolerant when once established.
