What an odd name to call such a beautiful flower. It is another commercial cut flower variety we’ve recently imported from Holland. It has 50cm tall, sturdy stems topped by a head of up to 30 navy blue flowers with each lobe having a darker central stripe. It makes an excellent long flowered garden plant as well as a brilliant cut flower. A patch in a new garden I’m are planting flowered from early November until Christmas. We wrongly sold this last year as a Brodiaea.
